Thurs 8 Nov

Tonight we go to a Renewal presentation at Newman given by Fr. Mark. He will be talking about the Gospel of Luke that will be read for next year's liturgical cycle. It will be nice to see and hear him again. I expect they'll get a good turnout. Hopefully my pager won't go off during the presentation - so far so good this week. Thank goodness the big bowl of Heather's homemade caramel corn is almost empty. I limited myself to about 3-4 little pieces this morning. I made up some of the little pumpkin pasta packets for dinner tonight, and decided to be adventurous (if not exactly healthy) with the sauce. I made a cheese sauce with Jarlsberg seasoned with nutmeg. I thought it was delicious! Pager went off for a call to go check someone out at the hospital just as we were getting ready to leave for Fr. Mark's presentation. I was able to wrap things up fairly quickly at the hospital, so I went about 10 min late. He does a nice job, a very animated speaker. Good to see him again.
