Today would have been my 39th wedding anniversary had I remained with Steve. Hard to I agine what my life would be like now given how unhappy I was in that marriage. If I had never had children as he wanted, it seems that life would have been empty and shallow, and I would likely have been quite depressed. Glad things worked out as they did. Had a wonderful day! Bought a lovely mille bells plant to replace the dying pansy bowl at the Farmers Market, along with yummy strawberries and blueberries and assorted other goodies. Bought some purple rice with mango and a steamed bun that we shared as a picnic in Peninsuala Park. Had a really nice hike after lunch, followed by a wine tasting at Simon Creek. Gelato and an unexpected purchase of a fun new dress in Sister Bay, tapas in Fish Creek, and back to the hotel for relaxation. Food: 8:15 am Chocolate chip scone, cranberry scone, omelet w/peppers, ham , tomato, and cheese, 6 oz OJ, coffee
