My breakfast client was a no-show this morning, so I had my fallback - oatmeal from Starbucks at my desk. Convenient that Starbucks is right across the street from Olympia, so I get some to go if she doesn't show up.
Would have liked to drive back to the Pinewood tonight to try the fish fry, but I called them after Dad got home late and the earliest available table would have been at 7:30. This was at 5:45 and I didn't think I could wait that long to eat so we deferred to leftover grilled chicken drumsticks.
We have a wellness challenge at work with a different thing each day for a month. Today's challenge was to eat a new fruit or vegetable. This is very difficult for us as we have eaten pretty much all the fruits and veggies available around here. I tried Trig's and Aldi's and couldn't really find anything that was really new to us. I opted to cook up the bag of TJ's shelled edamame as something we haven't really cooked at home before as my best effort. Good enough. And, BTW, they were delicious.
